Thank you for saving! I actually started with Duo Lingo, then when I needed something more I started watching YouTube videos, got a study book with exercises in it, read small story books out loud, listened to a podcast of some kind every day, and had a tutor for an hour a week for a year (to help practice speaking). The key for me has been spending at least 15-30 min with Italian every day. It’s been a process, but I love the language so much so it has been fun to see the progress over the last 4-5 years!
Thank you so much for saving! Ah yes, Forno Conti is definitely top 3 of my favorite bakeries in Rome. The people working there are so lovely and the pastries are top notch!
Ohhh this is beautiful. Dreaming of getting to go to Rome one day… But for now this post is definitely inspiring me to add some more pizazz to my city guide posts.
Saved !! Also, how did you learn Italian ?

That’s very cool ! Congrats, it’s a lot of discipline too. 💪
It definitely helps that I’m doing it because I like it and not because I have to learn a language for school ☺️
This is really great Katie, if I ever go back for a second visit I will check out some of your recommendations!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊
Hi Katie! Have you ever tried Gelateria Giolitti and Trattoria Sora Lella?
